Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Liam’s dark and deadly secret

Last week, Liam was horrified when Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) revealed that Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) was lying dead on the table in the vets. Mary was alive and well, which left Liam perplexed. He soon discovered that she was playing a role in a murder mystery that Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) had created for her partner. As Liam got to work trying to solve the case, he came across a terrifying bloke called Dave. Eventually, when Liam arrived at the pub, he learnt that the event was an elaborate way for Chas to reveal that she’s booked a date for their wedding. After the event, Liam approached Dave – real name David – to thank him for taking part. The new face was adamant that he had met Liam before, but made it clear that he doesn’t remember bumping into anyone with the Cavanagh surname. Liam was very reluctant to entertain the conversation, and then outright told David that the man he’s thinking of isn’t him. When Liam walked away, he had a look on his face that suggested David’s comments about him were accurate. Following these scenes, multiple fans of the ITV soap took to social media to share their thoughts about Liam and what he could possibly be hiding.
