The legendary show schemer claimed that she had no agenda as she arrived at the site of the crash where Jimmy King (Nick Miles) lost his life, dressed in all black as she placed a singular red rose on the ground. Her unexpected comeback got tongues wagging, with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) horrified to see her old nemesis after more than 20 years since they last crossed paths. Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), meanwhile, wanted to know why Sadie was back after all this time, confronting her in The Woolpack in front of everyone. Sadie stated that she was paying her respects to Jimmy, who she’d been in a relationship with for the past three years. The scales well and truly fell from Nico’s eyes – not to mention everyone else’s – as she attempted to process such a claim, refusing to believe it. Sadie appeared shocked, stating that she had no idea they were still together, with Jimmy having told her years ago that they’d split. Speculation was rife among the punters, who all wondered if there were any truth to Sadie’s claims. Nicola ardently defended Jimmy, reiterating that he would never cheat on her.
