Emmerdale ‘confirms’ fierce icon who will take down Sadie as she learns the truth

Emmerdale’s Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) has accidentally dropped a key piece of information to someone that proves she wasn’t in a relationship with Jimmy King (Nick Miles) prior to his death. The iconic face returned to the village last month, much to the shock of literally everyone. Sadie claimed that she was back to pay her respects to Jimmy, who died after crashing his car into a marquee. Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) knew that Sadie was hiding a secret, because she literally always is. To her horror, Nicola then discovered that Sadie was in a secret relationship with Jimmy for three years. For a little while, it certainly looked like her claim was true as Sadie was able to back up her comments with photos of her and Jimmy, along with sharing information about Carl, Elliot and Angelica. As Nicola reeled over the news that her beloved partner had kept this secret for so long, viewers of the ITV soap learnt about Sadie’s real plan. She knew about Jimmy hiding a large amount of cash somewhere, and was in town to try and find it. The relationship story was completely false, and got created to try and get close to Nicola. Assisting Sadie with this plan is Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), who will secure half of the money – if they actually find it. All she had to do was sneak into the building and get searching – but she was then caught by Ruby. A quick comment about Ruby’s wine business and how she was in search of a friend meant Sadie was in the clear after being confronted. By this point, Sadie had consumed a lot more alcohol than Ruby, which meant her mouth ran away with her when she started talking about the last man to sweep her off her feet. Sadie reflected on being charmed by a man called Federico, who took her to New York last Christmas. Ruby was immediately curious, but couldn’t get any answers as Sadie had fallen asleep. Ruby isn’t someone who ignores her suspicions. If she confronts Sadie about her comments, will she discover the claims about Jimmy aren’t true? Or will Sadie create a cover story that puts her in the clear?
