EMMA Willis is set to compete with herself as two of her hit TV shows air at the same time. The current season of the long-standing singing show was already filmed back in 2025 but issues with contestants meant screening was postponed. It’s now likely that a scheduling clash could happen with The Voice airing at 7pm and Strictly going live at around 6.20 pm. It has been revealed that the conflict is causing concern amongst ITV bosses, who are worried that Emma’s new Strictly role has overshadowed promotion for The Voice. It’s reported that while Emma has fulfilled contractual commitments with ITV, she was in meetings and rehearsals during The Voice’s launch week. Speaking to The Mail on Sunday, an industry insider said: “It has been a headache for ITV, there is no doubt about it. “They are frustrated The Voice has been completely overshadowed. Nobody is talking about The Voice, they only want to discuss Strictly. It is all Emma is being asked about.” Most read in TV A BBC insider added: “Strictly bosses can see that it is an awkward situation for Emma to be in. But they know that they are the bigger show and will attract many more viewers than The Voice.” It comes after the launch date for Strictly was confirmed with fans not having to wait much longer for the next series. The show will then go live on Saturday September 26. The first live results show will air on Sunday, October 4 and the live final will be on Saturday, December 19. Emma will be at the helm alongside her co-hosts, replacing long-time presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly. This year’s series is also shaping up to be a corker, with a star-studded line-up already confirmed. Among those announced by the BBC are former EastEnders actress Lacey Turner and Aussie singer Delta Goodrem. Also taking to the dancefloor is Love Island winner Dani Dyer, who has been given a second chance after being forced to pull out of last year’s competition through injury. Love Island’s Cach Mercer and former T4 presenter Will Best have also signed up for the new series. Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton and Paralympic cycling legend Dame Sarah Storey are also among the famous faces confirmed to be competing. They’ll be joined by Gavin & Stacey star Melanie Walters, Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey and actress Jaime Winstone. Also heading to the dancefloor are footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips, House of the Dragon star Bethany Antonia and Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly host Graeme Hall. Finishing the line-up will be Emmerdale’s Lawrence Robb, YouTuber John Nellis and Team GB star Tabby Stoecker. Comment now
