Across the past year, Emily has been showing off a slimmed down figure, but has clapped back at those who have continued to criticise her weight, no matter what size she is. Emily has openly discussed in the past her ongoing fight against trolls who take it upon themselves to criticise her body. Following the birth of Barney, Emily revealed she had struggled with sepsis as she recovered from giving birth, which resulted in fluctuating weight. According to the NHS, sepsis is a serious reaction to an infection that can be life threatening and requires urgent treatment in hospital. I went through a very difficult pregnancy. “I was very ill after the birth. I had sepsis, I couldn’t leave the house for weeks. I am so done with defending it.” Emily is currently getting ready for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Alistair Garner – having celebrated her hen-do in style with a girls getaway to Spain back in June. The pair are set to get married in September after getting engaged last year and welcoming their son, Barney, in 2024. And it seems she’ll be pretty busy once she gets back from her honeymoon – Rivals season 3 has already confirmed to be going ahead, and she’s also landed a role in upcoming BBC court drama, Reputation. Netflix are also reportedly keen to get her on board for the upcoming film of The Inbetweeners, where she would reprise her role of Charlotte Hinchcliffe, who became the object of the young teens’ affections.
