Elon Musk’s baby mama shares rambling post announcing breakup from mogul

Taking to X, Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis shared a long post after it was reported that Musk unfollowed her on the platform. ‘It’s hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that’s just how it is sometimes,’ Zilis wrote. ‘I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness.’ Zilis gushed about Musk’s ‘tortured soul’ and how deeply she loved him, adding: ‘I’ve loved him more than life itself and he’s taught me 100 lifetimes of knowledge and made my cup overflow with life meaning, so there is a lot of loss, but luckily we created four beautiful little loves of my life. Shivon shared a photo of texts with Elon late last week (Picture: Shivon Zilis) ‘I am so beyond grateful for our children, and they make every single day the best day of my life! I do hope and pray he and I can be great friends and co-parents.’ Zilis also shared a screenshot of messages with Musk late last month when Chinese President Xi Jinping was visiting the US. ‘I didn’t realise this Xi dinner included significant other, or I would have invited you,’ Musk wrote last week. ‘Aw, that means so much to me, thank you,’ Zilis replied. In November 2021, Musk welcomed a boy and a girl, Strider and Azure, with Zilis. Musk had his 12th child with her in February 2024. The baby girl is named Arcadia. His fourth child with Zilis birthdate was not revealed, but we do know that he is called Seldon Lycurgus, and he’s Musk’s 14th kid. The Tesla founder, 55, has welcomed children with four different women over the last two decades. However, it was reported by The Wall Street Journal in 2025 that the ‘true number of [his] children is much higher than publicly known’. Musk has continued expanding his brood and has been open about his views on procreation, claiming that falling birth rates pose a grave risk to humanity.
