Elfrid Payton, Kings Agree To Deal With Chance To Make Regular Season Roster
Elfrid Payton and the Sacramento Kings have agreed to a camp deal where he will compete for a roster spot. Kings general manager Scott Perry was in the front offices of the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks during some of Payton's previous stops. Payton last played in the NBA during the 2024-25 season, averaging 3.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 21.3 minutes over 24 games with the New Orleans Pelicans and Charlotte Hornets. Payton is represented by Darrell Comer.
