STRICTLY Come Dancing has revealed the eighth star that’ll be taking a twirl on the 2026 series. The smash hit BBC One show returns to screens this Autumn and among the cast of ballroom hopefuls will be House Of The Dragon actress Bethany Antonia. She said of joining the show: “I can’t quite believe that I will be heading to the Strictly ballroom this September! “I have grown up watching Strictly, and I am so excited to take the challenge on and (hopefully!) learn a new skill. Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas were amongst the first to take to the comments section and congratulate Bethany. Bethany joins the seven other celebs who have already been revealed to be hitting the dancefloor this year. Two Love Island champions are taking part this year, with series 4 winner Dani Dyer and series 12’s champ star Cach Mercer also on the line-up. Most read in TV Big Brother host Will Best is another star in the mix alongside EastEnders legend Lacey Turner, Brit movie star Jaime Winstone, and Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem. Rounding out the line-up is Paralympian Sarah Storey and Kim Kardashian‘s hairdresser Chris Appleton. Previously, The Sun exclusively revealed that newly single X Factor hunk Jake Quickenden is also in talks with Strictly bosses – though the Beeb are yet to officially announce them as contestants. The 24th series will get underway after a massive show shake-up that saw a number of pro dancers axed, in what was hailed as the “Strictly Bloodbath”. The new season also welcomes a brand new presenting line-up of Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe.
