EgyptAir Ground Services signs 2 strategic agreements to expand international partnerships

EgyptAir EgyptAir Ground Services Company signed two strategic agreements with Rafal Aviation Handling and AuriJet Aviation Services, during the third and final day of the Egypt International Airshow and Space Exhibition (EIAS 2026). The signing ceremony was attended by Civil Aviation Minister Sameh al-Hefny, who said the ministry is keen to attract more investment and expand cooperation with major international companies and agencies operating in the civil aviation sector. He added that expanding such partnerships would contribute to improving operational efficiency at Egyptian airports, attracting more airlines, and increasing inbound air traffic and tourism. The agreements form part of EgyptAir Ground Services’ plan to expand its commercial and operational presence, building on its extensive experience and advanced capabilities. Under its partnership with Rafal Aviation Handling, EgyptAir Ground Services seeks to attract international airlines, scheduled and charter operators, and private aviation, particularly from the Far East, European, and Russian markets. The partnership with AuriJet Aviation Services aims to leverage its extensive network across the Middle East, Turkey, Europe, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to support and increase air cargo, charter, and private aviation traffic at Egyptian airports. The partnerships also seek to provide international operators with a unified professional point of contact, ensuring integrated coordination of ground handling, fueling, permits, and other services while maximizing operational efficiency and flexibility.
