Egypt’s archery national team secured three gold medals on Tuesday at the 15th African Archery Championship in Oran, Algeria. Ismail Ezz al-Din won gold in the U-18 men’s individual event, while Nourai al-Sayed claimed gold in the U-18 women’s individual competition. The duo teamed up to capture a third gold in the U-18 mixed team event. The tournament featured record-breaking performances by the Egyptian national team. Ezz al-Din set a new African record in the U-18 men’s individual event with 650 points. Ezz al-Din and al-Sayed also set an African record in the U-18 mixed team competition, scoring 1,258 points. The Egyptian delegation includes Ali Abdel-Barr, Bahaa Ali, Ismail Ezz al-Din, Abdel-Rahman Hani and Nourai al-Sayed, alongside technical director Dr. Maged Mohie.
