EFL boss clarifies he’s never volleyed a cat and says ‘I’d take a bullet for my dog’ in bizarre press conference

CHARLTON boss Nathan Jones has found himself discussing volleying cats for the second time in three days as he vowed to take a bullet for his dog. It comes after the Welshman claimed a linesman looked at him like he had “volleyed his cat” after protesting an offside that denied his team a goal on Wednesday night. Ahead of his team’s clash with Portsmouth at The Valley this afternoon, Jones said: “First and foremost I’d like to clarify that I’ve never volleyed a cat, I’m an animal lover. The Welshman’s original outburst in midweek was his second in the space of a few days.
