‘Save the Queen”? The only way to “save” the derelict Queen Theater may be to tear it down, but if so, let’s go. The City Council is moving closer to a takeover of the Kaimuki property where the former moviehouse has moldered, closed to the public for more than 40 years — and it must keep moving. After tolerating so many decades of neglect, the city must take responsibility to spur more productive use of this property.
