Editorial: Make responsible driving decisions

The rate of traffic fatalities, compared to this time last year, has steeply declined — a good thing given that 2025’s 128 deaths marked the deadliest year for Hawaii roads since 2007. Still, the state is recording more than one road death per week on average — 23 total as of Friday.
