Eddie Howe’s nephew Andy leaves Newcastle job two months after former manager resigned

ANDY HOWE has left Newcastle United – two months after uncle Eddie quit as manager. The former manager’s nephew was employed as a senior football executive at the Mags. He played a key role in a number of signings, with Sandro Tonali and Malick Thiaw two of his big successes. Highly-rated Andy received another promotion earlier this year but has now departed with the club’s well-wishes. He recently spent part of the summer in New York on the FA’s technical directors course. Coach Matthias Jaissle was named as Howe’s successor in the dugout at St James’ Park. The Magpies have had a mixed start to life under the German with two wins, two draws and one loss in their opening five Premier League games.
