ED Sheeran has been panned by planners over an unauthorised toilet at his £3.3million mansion flat. A source said: “Ed acquired the two- bedroom property as part of his portfolio nine years ago and the works went unnoticed until a busybody blew the whistle. It’s basically an unauthorised toilet which should have never been fitted where it was.” The mid 19th-century property, close to Victoria and David Beckham’s London home, was bought by Ed’s Maverick Properties firm. Builders carried out work, including knocking down a partition wall and creating an “open plan kitchen/living space”. In paperwork seen by The Sun, Ed’s team tell Kensington and Chelsea council the main property’s historic floor plan had already been altered by being subdivided into flats. They say they sought pre-planning advice and added: “The works that have been undertaken are considered to be minor in nature and have not affected historic fabric.” Comment now
