EASTENDERS fans have claimed that Jessie Wallace looks ‘furious’ in an awkward behind the scenes video from Zoe Slater’s exit. Last week Zoe – played by Michelle Ryan – was found dead by her heartbroken mum Kat (Jessie Wallace) during Thursday’s (10 September) episode of the BBC soap. The soap star was greeted with some presents and a huge bouquet of flowers from executive producer Ben Wadey. He told Michelle: “Thank you for everything that you have done. Your hunt for the twins, the mainstay of our Christmas Day episode. “It has been amazing having you with us and seeing Kat and Zoe reunite.” Michelle said: “I’ve loved being back. I started my career here and to come back and have this year has been so special. “And to work with Jess. A third chimed in: “Poor Jessie’s face, thunder and heartbreak.” Another replied: “This was even more awkward than a scene from the UK Office.” A fifth tweeted: “Well, that wasn’t awkward at all…” Viewers were left fuming as they branded Zoe Slater’s death a ‘travesty’ and hit out at her ‘awful’ exit.
