The character made his presence felt in yesterday’s episode when he arrived on Albert Square as a local councillor, who seems set to charm Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). Former Heartbeat star Jason married TV presenter Kate Charman in 2004, after the couple met in Majorca, Spain. Kate, a former actor and model, is an accomplished garden designer, so much so that she’s even been awarded a Royal Horticultural Society gold medal.
