| Freelance soaps writer Published July 22, 2026 8:00pm Everything changes (Picture: BBC) EastEnders’ Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) is about to have a huge change of heart about sending Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) down for the accident involving her son Jordan Fox (Jahsaiah Williams) – but it may just be too late. Next week sees the day of Ian’s sentencing after he knocked young Jordan over following Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) and Ross Marshall’s (Alex Walkinshaw) wedding back in May. Having already pleaded guilty to being over the limit behind the wheel, Ian has somewhat accepted he faces a stint behind bars as his court date arrives. However, when his lawyer gives him some unexpected good news, he is hopeful and seeks out Chelsea to beg for her help. While she initially dismisses him, guilt gets the better of her when she then confesses that she is partially to blame for Jordan’s accident to her auntie Kim Fox (Tameka Empson).
