Eamonn Holmes’ girlfriend sent death threats after ‘two years of hell’

Eamonn Holmes and Katie Alexander have been dating since 2024 (Picture: Timmie/Shutterstock) Eamonn Holmes’ girlfriend Katie Alexander has claimed she has received death threats since ‘simply falling in love’ with the TV host. The GB News host, 66, began dating mum-of-three Katie, 45, in 2024 following the breakdown of his marriage to This Morning’s Ruth Langsford. Their relationship has made headlines recently amid claims that Katie had been turfed out of the apartment she and Eamonn had shared for the last two years. There is reportedly ‘no love lost’ between Katie and Eamonn’s former partners, who have allegedly left Katie feeling ‘cut out’ of Eamonn’s care plans after he suffered a stroke in April. A source told The Sun that Katie has been left under immense strain after receiving malicious threats, while also dealing with Eamonn’s ailing health. They also claimed that police are investigating emails and letters sent to Katie, including one that threatened to chop her head off. It became too much to endure.’ Katie alleged that she had a ‘breakdown’ due to the levels of abuse she had received, and that her children had ‘kept her alive.’ ‘Knowing what was the truth in my own life — so different to what was being portrayed publicly — was torture. The attacks were very personal,’ the trained counsellor told her friend. ‘People can’t fathom I like older men. I have a history of relationships with men older than me. ‘People thought, ‘she must be with Eamonn for his money’. That’s such an untrue, one-dimensional reaction. I never asked for a penny, but he wanted to make sure that I was comfortable financially. He made sure I didn’t have to worry about money. It was his choice, his doing.’ Katie went on to say that she ‘refused Eamonn’s generosity so many times,’ refusing to let him pay ‘£15.99 for a film on TV’ and forcing him to wait until it became free to watch. ‘Despite being so far apart geographically, we lived together half of the week. We made it work. He was — and still is — my partner. And when we were together we did everything together,’ she continued. ‘I gave him a sense of worth. He became softer after years of antagonism. He spoke of his feelings in more depth. I told him that if he can’t communicate with me we can’t be together. ‘It seemed alien to him to be able to have a conversation and not an argument or shouting match, even if we disagreed.’ Despite allegedly moving out of their home, a source insists the couple are still together and have not split. She’s willing him to get back to full fitness and get their lives back on track.’ Deals of the Day See London's Christmas lights from an open-top double-decker bus this winter My skin always suffers when the heating goes on but this serum changed that The skincare formula that finally took the guesswork out of my routine Families can save up to 20% on summer 2027 holidays in Club Med's four-day sale Cold mornings are coming and this is the dressing gown I want to live in Arrow MORE: Eamonn Holmes’ girlfriend hits out at his ex-wives after being turfed out of flat Arrow MORE: Inside Eamonn Holmes’ relationship with girlfriend Katie Alexander after she ‘moves out’ Arrow MORE: Eamonn Holmes’ girlfriend Katie Alexander ‘moves out of flat in incredibly sad situation’ TV Newsletter Sign up and tell us which TV shows you love to watch to get personalised updates every morning.
