Oct 19, 2026; Santa Clara, California, USA; Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (5) looks to pass during the fourth quarter against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Cary Edmondson-Imagn Images The Washington Commanders will host the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC East matchup. Both teams have struggled this season, with Washington posting a 1-4-1 record and Philadelphia owning a 2-5 record. The Eagles continue to deal with significant injuries, and they’re still slightly overvalued. Ultimately, they haven’t shown the ability to consistently move the ball with several key injuries on offense.Jalen Hurts is on injured reserve, leaving Tanner McKee to lead the offense. He’s started two games this season, scoring a total of 35 points against the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys. These are two defenses that have struggled to slow down opponents, and the Eagles still haven’t been able to consistently produce.DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks have also been ruled out, leaving Philadelphia thin at wide receiver. Saquon Barkley returned against Dallas, but he only played 10 total snaps. He continues to deal with injuries, and the Eagles aren’t currently incentivized to push him. They’ll also be without a couple of other key guys. Jihaad Campbell’s been ruled out, and that will leave a hole in their defense. Britain Covey has the ability to flip field position in the return game, but he’ll sit out on Sunday Night Football.Washington’s also dealing with injuries, but Jayden Daniels is healthy, and that’s the biggest key. He hasn’t looked elite in 2026, but we know the upside he boasts. He can create offensively, and the Commanders should get solid field position throughout this game.Eagles vs. Commanders SNF Best Bet PicksThis will be a home game for Washington, and that’s a major factor for this spread. They haven’t featured a good defense in 2026, but they’ve been drastically better at home. Overall, they’re giving up 0.097 fewer points per play at home this season. The Commanders have used multiple quarterbacks this season, but their offense has also looked drastically better at home. They’re averaging 0.480 points per play in Washington compared to 0.281 on the road.Although I don’t trust Washington’s offense as much as Dallas’, they should still find plenty of success and be able to move the ball. If they’re given short fields throughout this game, they should be able to score enough points that Philadelphia struggles to keep up.Where to Bet: Washington Commanders -5.5 spread | -1152026 NFL Season Betting Record: 9-13 Our Current Best OffersChannel debug: betting
