‘DWTS’ Producers Are Obsessed With New Cast Member Jackson Olson and Want to Make Him the “New Robert Irwin”

Dancing With the Stars is gearing up for season 35, and slowly casting a star-studded group of celebrities—including Savannah Bananas baseball star Jackson Olson. And apparently producers are obsessed with him and want him to be the new Robert Irwin—aka a fan favorite who can become a face of the franchise (Robert is straight-up hosting a DWTS spinoff right now).“Everyone at Disney and ABC is totally enamored already with Jackson,” a source tells The Sun. “He’s the next Robert Irwin in their eyes. He has the charisma, the good looks, the talent, and the wholesome personality that they are looking for. They plan for him to be a standout this season and make it all the way to the end.”The insider adds, “They are planning on him snagging huge opportunities on future shows, potentially some acting, and outside hosting gigs, similar to Robert.”On top of his winning personality and love for dance, Jackson is dating Maggie Sajak—daughter of Pat Sajak. “His girlfriend, Maggie, will be on the DWTS set most weeks and producers plan to lean heavily into their ABC power couple dynamic,” a source says.So, who else is in the cast?
