Dungeon Crawler Carl’s Next Release Is Officially Less Than One Month Away

However, fans will be able to get their hands on it a bit earlier, to commemorate Local Comic Shop Day. According to the Local Comic Shop Day website, the volume will go on sale ten days earlier, on September 26, 2026. Furthermore, while the standard cover of the volume depicts Carl and Princess Donut facing off against The Juicer, the direct market release is even more special thanks to its exclusive cover. The direct market edition of Dungeon Crawler Carl Vol. 2 features an alternate cover illustrated by Yoshi Yoshitani, showing Carl and Princess Donut riding the Goblin Copper Chopper. It’s already great to get it nearly two weeks early, but the exclusive variant covers make it ideal for fans and collectors of Matt Dinniman’s work. For those who have already read the first installment, Dungeon Crawler Carl Vol. 2 offers plenty to look forward to, such as Carl and Princess Donut’s first encounter with a human since entering the dungeon, as well as the introduction of Team Meadow Lark. However, this release also presents an excellent opportunity for new readers to dive into the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series, as this second volume concludes right at the end of the webtoon adaptation’s first season, a satisfying stopping point that significantly expands the scope of the story within this brutal survival game.
