In a recent video, she answered a question she says she gets often: “How much school in Dubai actually costs.”Her daughter recently joined GEMS International School in Dubai. Veronika said the first expense comes even before the child is assessed, with parents required to pay an assessment fee of AED 525 (around Rs 13,000).The tuition fee then comes to around AED 55,000 (approximately Rs 14.34 lakh) a year. She said the amount can be paid in instalments, but several other costs are charged separately. One of them is the school bus, which costs AED 12,000 (around Rs 3.12 lakh) annually. The service, she explained, picks children up from home and drops them back after school.The uniform is another expense, costing approximately AED 1,000 (around Rs 26,000). But it was the cost of food that appeared to surprise her the most. “Food is not included in the tuition fee,” Veronika said.
