Siraj had arrived in Bengaluru from Dubai on an IndiGo flight. He was scheduled to travel onwards to Ghaziabad on another IndiGo flight.SUSPICION DURING SECURITY SCREENINGA CISF screening officer noticed that Siraj was not responding appropriately during the screening process, raising suspicion that he could be concealing something.A further examination was carried out, following which CISF personnel recovered two yellow-metal capsules concealed inside his mouth. The capsules weighed approximately 82 grams in total. PASSENGER HANDED OVER TO POLICEFollowing the recovery, CISF handed Siraj over to Airport Police for further legal action.The nature and value of the recovered yellow metal have not yet been ascertained.
