Driver killed, bus and car engulfed in flames on Phillip Island

A bus and a car became engulfed in flames after a fatal crash on Phillip Island last night.The car collided head-on with the bus travelling eastbound on Back Beach Road in Ventnor just after 9pm.Police said the car crossed onto the wrong side of the road and struck the bus, which had 25 people on board, including the driver.The sole occupant of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.Four people on the bus were taken to hospital with minor injuries.Police are investigating.
