Driver, 20, stabbed to death after two-car crash as cops launch murder probe & appeal for dashcam footage

NewsUK News A MAN has been stabbed to death after a car crash on a quiet residential road – as two men are arrested. Cops launched a murder probe after the victim, aged in his 20s, was found with a stab wound in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, yesterday. Officers rushed to Orme Road at around 5pm after being called by the West Midlands Ambulance Service. Upon arrival, they discovered a crash had occurred between a red Ford Fiesta and grey Audi. However, despite the best efforts of medical teams, the victim tragically died of his injuries. An investigation was quickly launched and two men, aged 22 and 20, have since been arrested on suspicion of murder. The suspects, both from the local area, remain in custody, Staffordshire Police confirmed. Devastated family members of the victim are being supported by specialist officers, the force added. Det Insp Stephen Ward said the investigation was at a “very early stage”.
