Drilon blasts Senate majority over remote voting bid

MANILA, Philippines – Former Senate President Franklin Drilon on Wednesday criticized the Senate majority bloc for pushing for an amendment of the Senate rules that would allow senators to vote remotely by teleconference, even calling the proposal “tyranny of the majority.” Drilon said the move “is directly connected” to the impeachment trial of Vice President
