As this year's Genkidamatsuri showcase well and truly proved, the next few years are going to be very big for Dragon Ball fans. Not only do we have Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 and Sparking Zero's massive DLC on the horizon, but the Dragon Ball Super anime is finally seeing some signs of life with the upcoming Galactic Patrol arc. By all accounts, the brand-new Super arc is going to take a fair amount of time to get going, which would sting a lot more if we didn't have a remake of Super's Battle of Gods arc, Super: Beerus, coming this year. For a while now, we've just heard "Fall 2026" as the remake's release date, but that might have been narrowed down by some upcoming merch. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Could Start Airing This October New Beerus And Whis Figurines Are Set For The Same Time As highlighted by Twitter user DbsHype, a bunch of new Dragon Ball merchandise has recently been revealed, including new figurines of Beerus and Whis that are specifically modelled after their Dragon Ball Super: Beerus appearance. Twitter user Baggie_Saiyan shared these figures and confirmed that they're planned to be released in October. Your browser does not support the video tag. While it's possible that the release of these figurines won't be tied to the Dragon Ball Super: Beerus anime, it would make a lot of sense for them to be released alongside it. October would also perfectly line up with the vague "Fall 2026" release window that we've had for the anime since it was revealed. Dragon Ball Daima also started airing on October 11 of last year, so it would create a nice and consistent release schedule going forward. We'll have to wait and see when Dragon Ball Super: Beerus' release date gets announced but, for now, it certainly seems likely that we're looking at October as the starting point. If not, at least we're finally getting some new merchandise featuring Whis, as it's been a very long time since he's had a static figure of his own.
