Although I’ll never quite understand why so many people think that Sparking Zero, the best Dragon Ball game in some time, needs fixing, that doesn’t stop the Super Limit Breaking Neo DLC from being very exciting. Not only is it adding even more characters to a stacked roster, but it’s also bringing new stages, a new mode, and some customisation that isn’t a Scouter or halo. During last week’s release date trailer, Bandai Namco shared pretty much everything there is to see and do in Sparking Zero’s massive expansion. That is, of course, except for one big question that it has seemingly been dodging - how much is it going to cost? Thanks to an early listing on the PlayStation Store, we finally know the answer. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s Big DLC Will Cost Nearly Half The Base Game It’s A Good Deal Compared To The Character Packs As pointed out by Twitter user DbsHype, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s Super Limit Breaking Neo expansion has recently gone live on the New Zealand PlayStation Store. Not only has this given us a bunch of new footage from those who have downloaded the DLC, but it’s also confirmed once and for all that it will cost $30. Well, if you convert from New Zealand dollars, it’s actually $32.89, but I imagine that’ll end up just being $30. With that price set in stone, it means that Sparking Zero’s expansion will cost nearly half of what the base game launched at in 2024. That may sound a little steep, but I think it’s a pretty reasonable price to pay considering how much has been packed in. That won’t stop the people saying it should have all been there from the start, but never mind that. To be fair, it actually ends up seeming pretty generous when you consider that the Super Hero DLC on its own cost $18, while the Daima packs were $9.99 each. Super Limit Breaking Neo is adding nearly as many characters alongside a bunch of other highly-requested additions, so I’m pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t priced high.
