Don’t pay for private internet service to govt offices from Sept 1, provide T-Fiber: Telangana IT Minister

IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu directed officials to ensure all of the offices receive internet services exclusively through T-Fiber. Besides, instructions were issued to accelerate implementation of the State’s flagship ‘Internet to every home’ initiative. The T-Fiber officials were directed to ensure that internet connectivity is provided to all government offices within the stipulated deadline of September 1 and make arrangements to provide the service to the Future City project, in Hyderabad periphery, as well. The migration from Telangana State Wide Area Network (T-SWAN) to T-Fiber has to be completed in a month.
