Donald Trump has one iconic musician thinking about leaving the U.S.: ‘I’m not aboard’

It’s real that the planet is getting warmer, that the water’s rising, that so many people are starving. When Donald Trump too over Venezuela, are those the new rules? Just take over a country and run it? It’s shocking, and you think: how on earth are we gonna change the presidency?“But Trump won’t last forever,” he added. “So, we’ve got hope.”As HuffPost pointed out, the 84-year-old Garfunkel is not the only star to take such a stance during Trump’s presidency. Rosie O’Donnell moved to Ireland after Trump won in 2024 but has since moved back to the United States. Also, Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, moved to England. Trump has made a habit of responding to musicians who are critical of him, but he has yet to speak about Garfunkel’s stance. Garfunkel, who is a native of New York City, is best known for his time alongside Paul Simon in Simon & Garfunkel. The two had three No. 1 singles in the United States and won the Record of the Year Grammy Awards for “Mrs. Robinson,” and “Bridge over Troubled Water.”He has won a total of eight Grammy Awards.
