The couple reportedly had frequent disputes over allegations that the wife did not show adequate respect to the husband’s relatives.Police alleged that the argument escalated on September 18, following which Tabrez assaulted his wife and allegedly strangled her to death.A case has been registered at Narpoli police station based on a complaint filed by police naik Kiran Tanaji Mohite. The accused has been booked under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder. Tabrez Alam was arrested on September 19 and produced before a court.
