Published August 30, 2026 09:32 AM The Dolphins traded Quinn Ewers to the Jaguars on Saturday and they’ve parted ways with another backup quarterback on Sunday. According to multiple reports, they have waived Cam Miller as they move to set their initial 53-man roster. The move would leave undrafted rookie Mark Gronowski as the only quarterback behind Malik Willis, but there’s been no indication that the team plans to hold onto Gronowski through the final cuts. Miller and/or Gronowski could return to the practice squad if they clear waivers, but it seems likely that the Dolphins have their eye on bringing in someone from another team to serve as the No. 2 behind Willis. Miller was a 2025 sixth-round pick by the Raiders and the Dolphins signed him off of their practice squad late last season.
