Published August 31, 2026 03:08 PM The Dolphins turned over a good chunk of their initial 53-man roster on Monday. In addition to claiming seven players off of waivers, they announced that they have also signed defensive end Malik Herring as a free agent. Herring appeared in 28 regular season games and four postseason contests for the Chiefs over the last four seasons. He had 32 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery during his time in Kansas City. He signed with the Titans this offseason, but did not make the cut in Tennessee.The Dolphins also announced the eight players who have been dropped from the roster in corresponding moves. They are defensive end Clelin Ferrell, cornerback A.J. Green, cornerback Ethan Bonner, offensive tackle Marques Cox, wide receiver AJ Henning, defensive end Max Llewellyn, offensive lineman Josh Priebe, and tight end Ben Sims.
