Dolphins announce moves, reduce roster to 53

Published August 30, 2026 06:18 PM After announcing one wave of cuts on Saturday, the Dolphins have announced the rest of their moves to reduce their roster to 53 players on Sunday.Miami waived offensive tackle Gottlieb Ayedze, cornerback Miles Battle, safety Major Burns, tight end Jeremiah Franklin, quarterback Mark Gronowski, running back Jarquez Hunter, receiver Donaven McCulley, edge rusher Rodney McGraw, cornerback Jai’Onte’ McMillan, quarterback Cam Miller, defensive lineman Fatorma Mulbah, linebacker Cam Riley, and running back Carlos Washington Jr.The club released defensive lineman Matthew Butler, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, edge rusher Cameron Goode, offensive tackle Charlie Heck, safety Lonnie Johnson Jr., receiver Terrace Marshall Jr., edge rusher David Ojabo, receiver Jalen Reagor, and cornerback Marco Wilson.The Dolphins moved cornerback Darrell Baker Jr. and Storm Duck to the reserve/physically unable to perform list. And the team placed defensive lineman Kenneth Grant and edge rusher/linebacker Trey Moore on injured reserve. Both Grant and Moore have been designated to return. All four players will be eligible to return to play after the fourth game of the season.
