‘Doctor Who’ Actor Noel Clarke Charged With Sexual Assault, Voyeurism & Exposure

Skip to main content Noel Clarke Ben Whitley/PA Images via Getty Images Noel Clarke, the British actor who starred in Doctor Who and Kidulthood, has been charged with a series of sexual offenses by UK police. London’s Metropolitan Police announced on Wednesday that Clarke has been charged in connection with alleged offenses that took place between 2007 and 2016 involving five women. The 50-year-old faces two charges of sexual assault, three charges of voyeurism, and one count of exposure. He will appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21. Detectives have been investigating Clarke for a year, arresting the actor on September 25, 2025. A file of evidence was presented to the Crown Prosecution Service, which authorised charges. The arrest followed Clarke being defeated in his libel lawsuit against The Guardian after the newspaper detailed allegations of sexual misconduct by more than 20 women in 2021. Clarke has always denied wrongdoing. Watch on Deadline Clarke has not worked in any substantial capacity since the allegations were published. He played Mickey Smith in Doctor Who, while his last series on UK television was ITV’s Viewpoint in 2021. Clarke created hit indie movie Kidulthood and had roles in other productions, including Star Trek Into Darkness and Bulletproof.
