Discount Dining App inKind Doubles Referral Rewards To $50—Refer Your Spouse And Get $75 Combined

inKind has brought back its $50 referral bonus, double the usual amount. New members still get $25 off their first qualifying $50 restaurant bill. Refer a spouse or partner who hasn’t joined yet, and that’s $75 in discounts and dining credit between you. I’ve written about this referral offer before. inKind actually has restaurants where I eat, which is unique for these deal tools. In Austin, that includes The Well, Peached Tortilla, Wu Chow, Lao’d Bar and Old Thousand. And Waterloo Ice House, where the food isn’t very good but they have playgrounds for my kids. How To Get The $50 Referral Bonus The increased reward is reported to run through October 20, 2026. Here’s how it works: A new member joins through an existing member’s referral link. They pay a qualifying restaurant bill of at least $50 before tax and tip through the inKind app. The new member gets $25 off that bill. The person who referred them receives $50 in inKind Cash Back to spend on a future meal. Once you’ve joined, you can refer other new users yourself. If you’re already a member and your spouse isn’t, referring them keeps both benefits in the household. On a $50 qualifying meal, they pay $25 plus tax and tip, and you receive $50 toward a later visit. Use the “Refer a Friend” option in your account to find your own link. Feel free to leave your referral links in the comments. You Pay The Restaurant Through The App inKind is a payment app, and behind it is a restaurant financing business. They give restaurants money upfront in exchange for future food and beverage credit, then sell or award that credit to customers. You don’t need to book your table through inKind. When you’re ready to pay, ask for the check, select the restaurant in the app, and enter or scan the check number. The tip goes to your linked credit card. I’ve walked through the different ways to use the program. You can pay with a credit card and earn inKind rewards, spend previously earned rewards, or use prepaid credit. The Old Stacking Advice No Longer Works You used to be able to combine discounted prepaid credit with an offer taking dollars off your bill. As I noted in September, inKind’s terms now prohibit using offers with an inKind balance. You can’t take $25 off a $50 meal and then pay the remaining $25 with prepaid credit. Use the new member offer with a credit card, and save existing credit for another visit. You also don’t earn additional inKind Cash Back on the portion covered by prepaid credit, rewards or discounts. And use your referral rewards. Credit earned in October expires December 31, unless you extend it through qualifying activity. Under the current terms, redeeming at a restaurant, buying inKind Cash, adding an external gift card or earning another qualifying referral reward resets the expiration. If you’re sitting on rewards, spend those before buying more credit. (HT: Doctor of Credit) Topics on this page
