Did Politico illegally sell readers’ browsing data?

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal court in California partially declined to dismiss Politico readers’ claims alleging the news site used cookies to collect their browsing data even after they opted out of cookies. Some of their privacy claims are time-barred, but some of their unjust enrichment and fraud claims may proceed.
