Diamonds win final game but miss out on trophy

The Australian Diamonds secured a commanding victory in the final game of the Constellation Cup against New Zealand's Silver Ferns, showcasing their top form. Despite this win, they couldn't clinch the overall trophy, as the Ferns had already amassed enough points from previous matches to secure the championship. This outcome highlights the intense competition between the two teams and raises questions about the Diamonds' consistency throughout the series. The loss underscores the importance of maintaining peak performance across all games, not just the final one.
