Devastated Nicola Peltz has paid tribute to her friend Presley Gerber after his death and said he had the 'kindest heart'. On Sunday, it was announced that Presley, whose mother is supermodel Cindy Crawford and father is entrepreneur Rande Gerber, has died in a rehab facility following a years-long struggle with drugs, panic attacks and his mental health. It has since been confirmed that he died of a suspected overdose.In her tribute Nicola, 31, penned: 'I am truly devastated. Presley was pure light in this world, he had the kindest heart. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was deceased.'Presley's famous family – which includes supermodel mom Cindy, businessman Rande and model/actress sister Kaia Gerber – was informed that his death was the result of an apparent overdose.The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the individual as Presley and said that he died on Sunday at a rehab facility in a devastating end to a battle he had increasingly laid bare on social media. The Medical Examiner has not determined the official cause of death yet.It has been revealed that the 911 call came from the luxury rehab as law enforcement are currently investigatingThe spokesperson continued: 'SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. The investigation remains ongoing.
