Depts. and agencies requested to present projects and specific concerns regarding Future City

As the process for establishment of the Bharat Future City is set in motion, the Government has requested departments and agencies to provide their inputs on the ongoing and proposed projects, sector specific concerns and infrastructure requirements.The departments, primarily those providing civic amenities, are directed to submit their recommendations along with relevant plans, proposals, maps and datasets. The instructions are given at a stakeholder inception workshop organised as part of preparation of the vision and comprehensive master plan for the Future City. The workshop was conducted by the Future City Development Authority.The workshop was attended by officials as well as representatives from the international consultancy consortium comprising DP Architects Pte. Ltd., Singapore, CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd. and The Urbanizer Global LLP. A presentation on the FCDA’s requirements, strategic priorities and overall vision for the Future City was made at the workshop followed by another by the consultancy consortium on the project background, scope of work, timelines, preliminary analysis and the proposed approach towards formulation of the master plan.
