Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available. The creator of The Boys comics has a new adaptation coming out soon, and the trailer has just been released. Garth Ennis is best known for creating The Boys superhero comic books in 2006. The stories found huge success, with 72 issues coming out over the following six years. A couple of years after launching The Boys, Ennis released the first issue of the horror comic Crossed, which is being adapted as a feature-length film directed by Rob Jabbaz, with a screenplay by the comic book writer himself. Now Bloody Disgusting Horror has shared the official trailer for Crossed, which tells the story of a group of strangers, led by Stan and Cindy, who escape from infected beings called the Crossed. The diseased have crosses on their foreheads, lack restraint and pursue the worst impulses imaginable. Check out the trailer below: The Crossed trailer begins with a child playing in a sandbox. A mysterious man with a cross on his forehead walks up and begins swinging a sledgehammer behind the oblivious kid. "It turned out, they were everywhere," a character says via voiceover, referring to the Crossed. No one seems to know how this nightmare began, but the infection "spread like lightning." They seem to have made it their sole mission to hurt people, including through torture, assault and murder. As the voiceover continues explaining the post-apocalyptic environment they're all living in now, shocking footage is shown of the group of strangers attempting to survive amid car crashes, brutal attacks and much more. At one point, a car plows right into one of the Crossed. As the trailer ends, the strangers head towards danger, weapons in hand, ready to defeat the zombie-like creatures. More to come...
