DepEd eyes the construction of over 2,000 classrooms with LGUs’ help

The Department of Education is gearing up to construct over 2,000 classrooms with significant financial backing from local government units, investing a total of P9.3 billion. This initiative, which has already initiated procurement, aims to address the pressing need for more school infrastructure. With 2,632 classrooms planned across more than 600 schools, this move is crucial in tackling the education system's growing demands and ensuring better learning environments for students.
