Delivery agent killed in accident

Dileep, who was a resident of Lakshmi Nagar in Alapakkam near Maduravoyal, was working as a delivery agent for a private online delivery company.On Saturday (September 19, 2026) night Mr. Dileep was returning home after delivering a parcel at around 11.30 p.m. on the Poonamallee High Road on his two-wheeler when an unidentified container truck moving in the same direction rear-ended the motorist and drove away.In the accident, Dileep, despite wearing a helmet, suffered several body injuries and was rushed to the Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for treatment. However, within a hour of admission, the victim died.The Maduravoyal Traffic Investigation police have registered a care and are searching for the truck and the truck driver.
