‘Deli Boys’ Canceled After Two Seasons at Hulu, Onyx Collective

The comedy series “Deli Boys” has been canceled at Hulu after two seasons, Variety has confirmed. The series, which aired under Hulu’s Onyx Collective brand, starred Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and Poorna Jagannathan. Fred Armisen joined the show in its second season along with Andrew Rannells, with Brian George once again appearing as Ahmad and Jake Prizant playing Matthew. Kumail Nanjiani, Lilly Singh, Robin Thede, and returning guest star Tan France also appeared in Season 2. The show was popular with critics, with the two seasons averaging a 98% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It failed to find a wide enough audience, however, to justify a third season. Andrew Chadwater hopes one big bust will make him mayor.” Abdullah Saeed created the series, which was developed by Jenni Konner and Nora Silver under Jenni Konner Productions.
