With the score 21-20, Kansas State initially lined up to go for two and the win, but then decided to kick the extra point and force overtime.Kansas State scored a field goal on the opening possession and Colorado responded with a touchdown to win it.“Our kids, they’ve never stopped believing,” Sanders said after the game. “I’m just so darn proud of these young men right now.”Colorado hasn’t given Sanders a lot to be proud of this season, and is now in a last-place tie with Kansas State at 1-4 in the conference. But in what has been a very rough season, Coach Prime finally has a conference win.
