(credit: CHAIM GOLDBERG/FLASH90)No active Home Front Command directives for civiliansThe ministry emphasized that there are currently no active Home Front Command directives for the civilian population, but such instructions may need to be reinstated if circumstances change.It added that as long as the declaration remains in force, the Home Front Command retains various authorities under the Civil Defense Law, including the power to issue instructions to the public, require people to remain in protected spaces, impose restrictions on educational activities, direct auxiliary organizations, and issue additional orders necessary to safeguard lives and property.According to the document, because no Home Front Command directives are currently in effect, the economic impact of extending the declaration is expected to be negligible. It also stressed that if there is a significant change in the security situation, the declaration could be revoked or narrowed to apply only to areas where it is deemed necessary.Follow us on Google
