In Reply We thank Drs Parikh and Elwyn for their interest in our article that showed that using an evidence-based decision-support system (the PETRUSHKA tool), compared with usual care, may help more patients continue antidepressant treatment and reduce depressive and anxiety symptoms. Parikh and Elwyn raise interesting points that we believe deserve some contextualization.
