Deafness, blindness, baldness, confusion and drooling among shock side effects reported by Viagra users

The most reported one was headaches, with 90 cases, followed by 34 reports of heart problems — including two fatal cardiac arrests. Six people claimed it was linked to their hearing loss. Two people linked the pills to the amputation of their leg. Since 2021, the MHRA has recorded 35 deaths potentially linked to Viagra or the generic version called sildenafil. The watchdog logs reports under its Yellow Card scheme so it can give a warning if there are a spate of similar cases.
