DC Officially Unveils New Harley Quinn

DC Unveils New Harley Quinn Design For Legacy Of The Dark Knight Published Sep 17, 2026, 3:00 PM EDT Jared is a writer, editor, and Communications Studies graduate who loves popular nerd culture (almost anything to do with Marvel, DC, Star Wars, or The Lord of the Rings) and the interactive storytelling medium. Jared's first console was the PS1, wherein he fell for Spider-Man, Spyro the Dragon, and Crash Bandicoot. The hype swarming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight like a colony of bats has naturally died down a little since launch, but it could be renewed with the launch of the superb LEGO Batman game’s Mayhem Collection DLCtomorrow. While Joker was featured heavily in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s original, movie-inspired story, it’s fantastic that fans can nowplay as both Joker and Harley Quinn. The DLC offers two distinct ways to play as these characters: a story mission where Joker and Harley break out of Arkham Asylum, and a game mode where they wreak havoc in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s open-world Gotham City. Joker and Harley will also have various skins, of course, like the base game’s seven playable characters, and the latest one to be revealed is a special treat for fans of the most celebrated Batman video game franchise. As per Twitter/X, a new LEGO Harley Quinn skin has been unveiled ahead of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s Mayhem Collection DLC, which launches on September 18, 2026. This skin adapts Harley’s particular look from Batman: Arkham Asylum, including a nurse’s hat, ID badge, chaotic corset, and prankster pigtails. It’s arguably not her most iconic look from the franchise (that would be the outfit from Batman: Arkham City, surely), but this Batman: Arkham Asylum skin is perfect for role-playing as Joker and Harley while breaking out of Arkham Asylum in a story mission, not unlike how Joker and Batman’s iconic rogues’ gallery of villains take over the psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane in Rocksteady’s seminal first installment of the Arkhamverse. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an unabashed love letter to the Batman: Arkham franchise, and it ought to be, too, seeing as its core gameplay loop is essentially a LEGO adaptation of these games’ combat, traversal, and puzzle-solving. Now, it’s terrific that Harley will have her own Batman: Arkham-inspired skin in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. You could easily argue she already did, because Harley’s default black-and-red harlequin outfit in-game is comparable to the one she wears in Batman: Arkham Knight’s A Matter of Family Batgirl DLC. Still, every new Batman: Arkham skin added to LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is cause for celebration, and it’ll be interesting to see if more DLCs or skin packs are eventually added to the game.
